Complex site with existing buildings from different eras created most of the challenges for this project. After finding a logical functional connection, we needed to make sure that architecture interplays with the existing buildings and materials in a positive manner. Çurved form creates an enclosed and protected schoolyard in the city centre. Massive brick walls and zinc and brick cladding have been used for pure indoor air and timeless architecture that blends into the environment. Compact classrooms and learning spaces centered around a central auditorium staircase create a pleasant place for the kids and teachers.
